WavTeK HotSpots will work with any computer with 802.11b that supports DHCP and has a web browser that allows cookies.

Q: How Fast is it?

WavTeK HotSpots can deliver up to 3mb/s to your mobile device. *bandwidth varies based on location and distance.

Q: How Far can your hotspot reach?

WavTeK HotSpots range from 300ft up to 3000ft depending on the card in your laptop and any obstructions in the way. check the maps available from the locations page to verify coverage in your area.

Q: Is my data safe?

WavTeK HotSpots encrypt all clients connections with 128bit MD5 Encryption so your data is secure.

Also our wirless access points employ a technology called Peer Isolation this lets clients pass traffic to and from the hotspot but they cannot pass traffic to other wireless users.

Q: Can i access my Companys VPN through a WavTeK HotSpot?

WavTeK Hotspots fully support MS-VPN clients on ports 1723 & IP 47
